Dr. Jeffrey M. Patten, DDS
Dr. Patten was born at Gritman Medical Center and graduated from Moscow High School. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Idaho and the University of California- Santa Barbara. He graduated from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2014 before returning to Idaho. His hobbies include attending his children's sporting events, biking with his family around the Palouse, hiking, camping, whitewater rafting, and almost anything outdoors.

Tammy Hipp, Dental Assistant
Tammy is our Dental Assistant, and has been a Dental Assistant since 1990 when she graduated from Spokane Community College. She and her husband were both born and raised in Spokane, but also lived in Atlanta and Virginia. They moved back closer to home in 2013 when he got a job at WSU. They have a 20 year old son who loves sports, and attends college on Long Island, New York. She loves the outdoors, painting, playing disc golf, traveling, antiquing and just spending time together as a family. She really enjoys the Palouse!

Rebecca Beckner, RDH, Hygienist
Becky graduated with honors, receiving a Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from Eastern Washington University in 2015. She was born and raised in St. Maries and returned to North Idaho in 2007 after living in Chicago and Portland as a Flight Attendant. Becky now lives in Potlatch with her husband Ryan, together they have five children. She enjoys traveling, camping, snow-biking, caring for her flowers, and attending the many activities their children are involved in. Becky has been with Patten Family Dentistry since March 2017.

Kelly Forney, Front Office Receptionist
Kelly was born and raised, and raised her family in Visalia, California. She lived there until 2022 when she and her husband moved to Moscow to be near their daughter and her family. John & Kelly have three children, and seven grandchildren that are their greatest joy. Finding this job at Patten Family Dentistry in August 2023 was an unexpected blessing and Kelly is grateful to be working with the incredible staff, and all of the great patients.

Brenda Hunt, Financial Coordinator
Brenda was also born and raised here on the Palouse and loves this area. She is an avid gardener and loves spending time outside. She is very close to all of her family and spends as much time as she can with brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Ethel was born in the Philippines, moved to the U.S. when she was 8 years old. Ethel and her husband grew up here in Moscow, but moved away to AZ for 14 years. They returned back home in 2020, and are enjoying the beautiful Palouse. Ethel loves spending time with her family outdoors, and coaching sports her girls play. Ethel enjoys educating children about dental health.
